The Hack of Humanity

Paperback, 192 pages

“The Hack of Humanity” discusses how Satan engineered a wicked plot against the human race. It reveals how the evil mastermind gained unauthorized access into the soul of the father of humanity, and, through lies and artful deception, planted a deadly virus in the human psyche, which he triggers continuously to control the thinking and behaviors of his subjects without their active knowledge.

Have you ever tried desperately to fall asleep but simply couldn’t? It was frustrating to say the least, wasn’t it? “Why can’t I shut off my own mind when I really want to fall asleep?” What about making repeated decisions to break bad habits but failing miserably to do so? Then there are also the prevailing struggles with stress, doubt, guilt, fear and depression. We have all been there, haven’t we? All of these scenarios beg for the answer to this all-important question: How much control do we really have over our own lives or the bodies that we live in?

Regardless of race, religious belief or unbelief, or even socio-economic status, our daily experiences show that we share the common fate of humanity—victims of oppressive, unwelcome enslavement and ongoing devious, negative thoughts and behaviors. The above scripture reflects in some degree prophet Jeremiah’s understanding of humanity’s dilemma. He also described the human mind as being deceitful and desperately wicked, and how incapable we are of even knowing it (See Jeremiah 17:9).

St. John’s testified of Jesus: 23Now when He was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in His name when they saw the signs which He did. 24But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men [humanity]; 25and had no need that anyone should testify of man [humanity], for He knew what was in man [humanity] – John 2:23-25.

The text suggests that something sinister and deceptively dark is governing humanity’s innermost thoughts, attitudes and behaviors, undermining our best intentions and efforts for productive, fruitful living. The “Hack of Humanity,” is my candid attempt to give a clear, behind-the-scene look at what that mysterious element really is. The book transitions into a ray of hope about God’s triumphant response to this disastrous intrusion on His creative masterpiece.
